So, I just wanted to talk about American Horror Story: Red Tide for a bit. Anyway, I watched each episode as it aired on Hulu until the last. My Hulu ran out and I didn't get it renewed until today, so I finally begrudgingly watched the last episode(after hearing about how awful it was). People were right... It was rushed and I should've left it at episode 5, even though it left me so angry at that child and father...poor Doris. They didn't even show Doris getting revenge at the end. And her wicked child is set to go about her ways endlessly... All we wanted was for that girl to at least pay for what she did. The ending was very American Horror Stories-esque, which isn't a compliment.
Red Tide could've been one of the best seasons(actually I will still consider it one of the best, as long as I leave off the last episode). I think Ryan Murphy made a mistake with this double season. He should've done a whole season on Red Tide... It was the first season in forever that actually felt like AHS again. Instead of rushing the ending and doing aliens for the second part, he should have went deeper into the Red Tide universe...

I'm still going to watch the second half, but to be honest, I'm not really excited about aliens(and the way that they are portrayed) in ahs. And something about how it's filmed just doesn't seem AHS-like to me. If they wanted to do aliens, why not show us what happened with Kit and his GFS in Asylum? That would've been way cooler.

I sure hope my low expectations are raised once more with the second half of double feature...
